LSU has lost a standout defensive player from its 2021 recruiting class.

On Thursday, 4-star defensive end Naquan Brown announced that he has decommitted from the Tigers and will be reopening his recruitment. Brown is a 6-foot-3, 205-pounder from Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach, Va.

Brown is the No. 16 weak-side defensive end in the 2021 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, and the No. 6 recruit from Virginia. He is the No. 226 overall recruit in the class.

Now, Brown will again consider his options ahead of the early signing period, which will take place from Dec. 16-18.
