LSU lands elite Top 5 RB, recent Auburn decommit
It took Armoni Goodwin less than a month to find a new home.
The elite Hewitt-Trussville running back decommitted from Auburn on Nov. 30. Wednesday, he signed with AU division rival LSU.
Listed at 5-8, 190 pounds, Goodwin is rated the No. 5 running back, No. 6 recruit in Alabama and No. 94 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. He collected 17 scholarship offers during his recruitment, including Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
LSU’s official welcoming tweet includes some highlights of Goodwin for Tigers fans to get to know the new Bayou Bengal ball-carrier:

LSU looks to be loaded at running back for the foreseeable future. Ed Orgeron’s staff also signed Corey Kiner, the Composite’s No. 7 running back in the class. Not a bad day for Kevin Faulk.
