Brian Kelly is set to put on the purple and gold, and in fact, he already has on social media.

The former Notre Dame coach is not formally announced as LSU’s next coach, but he has already updated his Twitter profile to reflect his pending job change.

It’s been a whirlwind few days for LSU and its fans after Ed Orgeron led the Tigers to a 6-6 record thanks to a win Saturday over Texas A&M. Orgeron left for Destin, Florida later over the weekend, and LSU gave way to offensive line coach Brad Davis to serve as the interim head coach for the bowl game.

Reports have already surfaced that Kelly will retain at least 2 LSU assistants, Corey Raymond and Kevin Faulk, and once the announcement is made, look for him to finish building his staff and decide on bringing Notre Dame staffers with him.
