Cincinnati kicker ruins Joe Burrow’s comeback attempt, hurts himself in process

Joe Burrow’s NFL debut almost had a feel-good ending. Instead, the harsh reality of being a Cincinnati Bengal has Burrow being meme’d.
Cincinnati trailed the Los Angeles Chargers 16-13 late in the fourth quarter. Burrow did well under pressure, driving the Bengals all the way to the Chargers 3-yard line with time to get a shot at the end zone. Things quickly went downhill.
Burrow found AJ Green in the end zone, but Green’s touchdown was called off as the veteran wide receiver was flagged for a push-off. The penalty moved the Bengals back 10 yards.
The chip-shot, 31-yard field goal to tie looked like a sure thing. Bengals kicker Randy Bullock, however, missed wide and came up hurt on the attempt.
