Ed Orgeron after Citrus Bowl loss to Notre Dame: 'I should have prepared them better'
The LSU Tigers lost the Citrus Bowl in heartbreaking fashion on Monday afternoon, as a Notre Dame receiver made an incredible play late in the fourth quarter to give the Fighting Irish the lead.
In what could be star RB Derrius Guice’s last game in an LSU uniform, he was great, but the other Tigers struggled at times in the loss.
After the game, coach Ed Orgeron talked about the tough loss and also addressed Guice’s looming NFL decision.
Here’s what Coach O had to say following LSU’s disappointing 21-17 Citrus Bowl loss:
On accepting blame for the loss:
Ed Orgeron: I told the team to put this one on me. I should have prepared them better. #LSU
