Ed Orgeron weighs in on injuries to LSU DBs Grant Delpit, Derek Stingley Jr.
LSU picked up a 23-20 win over Auburn on Saturday, but it wasn’t an easy victory for coach Ed Orgeron’s Tigers.
Late in the game, star S Grant Delpit and CB Derek Stingley Jr. both went down with injuries and didn’t return to action.
However, after the game, Coach O didn’t seem too concerned about either player. He said it’s just some “regular stuff” that they’re dealing with:
Ed Orgeron didn't feel concerned about Grant Delpit and Derek Stingley. Both went down late. "I think regular stuff," Orgeron said.

Fortunately for LSU, they’re off this week. That’ll allow both players to get healthy and rest up ahead of a showdown with Alabama on Nov. 9.
We’ll learn more about both players this week, but for now, it doesn’t seem to serious, which is good news for LSU.
Can’t afford to lose either of those guys. It’s gonna be all hands on deck for the Tides lethal passing attack
I can’t even believe that Bama AND LSU have lethal passing attacks lol! Can’t we just go back to the ground and pound days with nasty defenses?!
Lol. I hear ya. But those days are gone. Saban has embraced the spread and no way LSU fans want to go back to the Stone Age! But we’d Love to have our old D along for the ride. I’m sure Tide fans feel the same.
