First of the day: Clemson flips LSU commit on Early Signing Day

The Clemson Tigers announced the addition of 4-star defensive back Malcolm Greene to its 2020 signing class Wednesday morning.
Greene had been committed to LSU; however, he made things official with his Clemson flip on Early Signing Day. The 4-star safety from Highland Springs, Virginia, is ranked as the nation’s No. 29 overall safety and the state of Virginia’s No. 6 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound defensive back committed to LSU in October, but once Clemson offered, he flipped his commitment. He recently took an official visit to Clemson following a visit from Dabo Swinney last week.
Greene boasted offers from around the country even while he was committed to LSU. Greene’s flip wasn’t too unexpected; however, it is certainly notable on Early Signing Day.
Clemson currently has the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class.
