Danny Etling is on the move again, and this time he’s back in Seattle.

About 2 months ago, the former LSU quarterback was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as the organization dealt with COVID-19 issues with its quarterbacks. Now he’s been signed by the Seahawks, the team announced, after he was with them last year on the practice squad, and was in training camp until Aug. 1.

Etling was a seventh-round choice of the Patriots in 2018, and he spent time with the Falcons in 2019 before joining the Seahawks last season. The Vikings waived Etling on Aug. 23.

At LSU, Etling played in 24 games at LSU, and started 23 times. He passed for 4,586 yards and 27 touchdowns in his two years with the Tigers, and accounted for 30 touchdowns (27 passing, 3 rushing).
