The LSU Tigers lost TEs Stephen Sullivan and Thaddeus Moss to the NFL this offseason, and then they lost more depth.

That happened when Jamal Pettigrew announced he was entering the NCAA transfer portal.

On Saturday, it was revealed that he had chosen a transfer destination, and he’ll stay in the state of Louisiana. As you can see below, the McNeese State Cowboys announced they had added Pettigrew to their roster:

Since he’s heading to the FCS level, Pettigrew will be eligible to play right away. He will be a senior.

In 2019, Pettigrew made 1 catch for the Tigers, but it went for -1 yards. In 2017, he had 1 catch for 18 yards.
