Foster Moreau has had an amazing turnaround this spring, and now the former LSU tight end has a new NFL contract.

Moreau, according to multiple reports, agreed to a 3-year, $12 million deal that includes $8 million fully guaranteed and an additional $3 million in incentives with the New Orleans Saints. Moreau announced this spring that he was stepping away from the NFL after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma during a routine physical with the Saints. But Moreau has been cleared and expects to play this season.

Nick Underhill reported that Moreau received a very positive diagnosis, and while he’s still getting treatment, it won’t impact his participation. The Saints will bring him along slowly, but he is not expected to have any limitations.

Moreau originally entered the NFL as a 4th-round pick for the Raiders in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has 91 catches for 1,107 yards in his 4 seasons and set career-high marks with 33 catches for 420 yards last season.

At LSU, Moreau made 52 catches for 629 yards and 6 touchdowns from 2015-18.
