Derrius Guice sends strong, confident message at combine press conference
Derrius Guice didn’t show up in Indianapolis lacking confidence.
The former LSU running back already made an impression at the NFL Scouting Combine before he even got on the field.
At Guice’s media availability session on Thursday, he said that “no one is better than him” between the tackles. And he even offered up a comparison to Marshawn Lynch:

LSU RB Derrius Guice says his game is similar to Marshawn Lynch. Said he's watched tape and thought "This guy runs just like me."#NFLCombine2018

It’s hard to argue with Guice. After he was banged up at the start of the season, he still finished 2017 with 1,251 rushing yards and 11 scores. He eclipsed over 2,600 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns in his final 2 seasons in Baton Rouge.
And comparing himself to a future Hall of Famer probably didn’t hurt, either. Guice will try and match Lynch’s on-field performance, too.
It was Lynch who ran a 4.46 40-yard dash at the combine. After measuring in at 224 pounds, posting a similar time would certainly bode well for the first-round hopeful.
Oh, and Guice had one more message to deliver in Indy.
LSU RB Derrius Guice asked what message he wants to get through to all 32 clubs in interviews:
