In his second season as LSU’s quarterback, Joe Burrow has finally met some of his classmates.

Burrow has taken online classes since transferring to the school from Ohio State, so he doesn’t have many interactions with fellow LSU students. But that changed this past Saturday.

After the Tigers’ win over Texas A&M in their home finale, Burrow took the time to visit some of the students in attendance at Tiger Stadium following the game.

“Obviously, I don’t go to class because I only take online classes, so I don’t get to see any of those people,” Burrow told the media after Saturday’s game. “I just wanted to see them for the first time and thank them for coming to the games and making this the best atmosphere in the country.”

LSU has given those students a lot to be happy about this season, as the Tigers are 12-0 and could be on their way to winning the SEC championship and securing a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Burrow and the Tigers are set to face Georgia in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on CBS.
