Justin Jefferson is borderline unguardable right now.

The former LSU receiver dazzled for the Minnesota Vikings Saturday afternoon, totaling 12 catches for 133 yards and a late touchdown to extend his team’s lead over the New York Giants. The Vikings, as they seemingly have all season, used that production to squeak past the Giants with a booming 61-yard field goal off the leg of Greg Joseph.

And Jefferson did something pretty incredible with his strong outing. He’s now the only receiver to ever reach 24 career 100-yard games through his first 4 seasons in the league. The previous high was 23 by Randy Moss.

It’s worth noting this is Jefferson’s 3rd season in the NFL and there are plenty more 100-yard outings well on the way.

Jefferson has played in 48 games across his career, meaning he essentially has a 50% chance to total 100 or more receiving yards any given week. The Vikings, in turn, sit at 12-3 and seem to be in prime position to make a legitimate run at a championship.

We are truly watching greatness from Justin Jefferson, who also broke the Vikings single-season receiving record with his performance against New York. He’s trying to become the first NFL receiver to total more than 2,000 yards in one season, sitting at 1,756 yards with 2 regular season games to play.
