Here are the highlights from LSU coach Les Miles’ weekly press conference on Monday.
Several reports have indicated the school going in a different direction at head coach. That was obviously the main focus of the media in the early portion of the presser. While a lot is still under speculation, Miles did make one thing clear.
#LSU coach Les Miles: “I’m not considering retirement.

Miles fielded several other questions regarding his job.
Miles: "I don't know anything other than, 'Let's go to work, rally the troops, enjoy the men I hired, recruited." #LSU

Miles: “What is the future to me is after the Texas A&M game. I’m not going to find myself watching TV or reading papers.” #LSU

Miles: If someone's asking me if I'm coaching for my job, I've been coaching for my job for 11 years. #LSU

Miles was asked if he was hurt or upset about some of the info that was leaked recently with regards to his job situation.
Miles: There was a reputable national sportscaster (in 2007, Herbstreit) who was completely erroneous. The question (about reports) is valid

Miles eventually transitioned to talk about last week’s game against Ole Miss. Miles was pleased with the team’s offense, which racked up a bunch of yardage that didn’t translate into points in the 38-17 loss.
#LSU coach Les Miles: We had 508 yards. If you avoid penalties and have a little more poise on the road, you win the game.

Miles said special teams was the silver lining in the loss.
"Special teams probably the bright spot of the day," at Ole Miss, Miles said. Did show clear improvement, got a fumble, contained well.

Miles also looked ahead to this week’s matchup against Texas A&M and made reference to former LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis, who now holds the same position with the Aggies.
Miles on A&M: They've got a talented coach I'm very familiar with (John Chavis). I'm looking forward to hosting him.

Miles took the time to defend RB Leonard Fournette.
#LSU coach Les Miles: "I think those people in New York (Heisman Trophy) need to consider inviting him."
— JimKleinpeter (@JimKleinpeter) November 23, 2015
#LSU coach Les Miles: Not an issue with Leonard’s progression. Loss of FB JD Moore and Dillon Gordon may have had an effect.
— JimKleinpeter (@JimKleinpeter) November 23, 2015
Miles also gave an injury update on two key players, OT Jerald Hawkins and WR Travin Dural.
#LSU coach Les Miles: Really good chance Jerald Hawkins will be ready to play. I do not know about Travin Dural
