LSU football added a huge commitment out of Texas Saturday, adding 5-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore.
Moore is considered by 247Sports to be the No. 1 overall prospect out of Texas in the Class of 2025. He’s now the top talent in LSU’s sprouting 2025 class, joining a trio of 3-stars. The Tigers recently earned a commitment from 4-star running back Caleb Durham, a Duncanville teammate of Moore.
Moore chose the Tigers over impressive offers from USC, Texas, Oregon and Ohio State, not to mention plenty others.

This is huge for a few reasons, chief of which could be a potential momentum starter for the Tigers on the recruiting trail.
Moore is considered to be the No. 5 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 2 WR and No. 1 player out of the state of Texas per 247Sports.
