LSU (7-2, 3-2) is the biggest climber in this week’s polls after pulling an upset on then-No.3 Ole Miss on Saturday. Following their 10-7 slugfest victory over the Rebels, LSU climbed several rungs in both polls.

The Tigers leapt six spots in the Amway Coaches Poll, moving from No. 23 to No. 17. LSU rose from No. 24 to No. 16 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. The Tigers were the biggest movers in either direction in both polls.

After playing nine straight games, LSU has its first first open date of the season this coming weekend. Their next game will be at home against Alabama, ranked third in both polls, who will also be coming off of a bye week.
