LSU picks up commitment from 4-star in-state 2022 cornerback
The LSU Tigers may have had a subpar 2020 season, but they haven’t let it slow them down at all on the recruiting trails.
On Sunday morning, they landed another player for their 2022 recruiting class, this one a 4-star cornerback out of Lafayette, Louisiana.
As you can see below, Laterrance “LT” Welch announced via Twitter that he was committing to the Tigers and coach Ed Orgeron’s program:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Welch is the No. 18 cornerback in the class of 2022 and the No. 9 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
The Tigers now have 8 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 3 in the nation and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.

Good, we will need CBs.

Welcome to Negan’s World, the one where most people have quit even taking the time to read your ridiculuous posts. Look up “bloviate”.
Adam Spencer says this. “The LSU Tigers may have had a subpar 2020 season”.
Well ain’t that the truth and with all this bottom scraping for coordinators, we can expect more. Much more.
I wonder though. What happens when Corey Raymond finally says “F this” and walks out? After all, Coach Whiteboots is more than happy to go to the NFL for a substandard candidate to fill his DC spot but not his own staff. Which really begs the question. How poorly thought of is Corey Raymond that he’s not considered a better option than another position coach in Daronte Jones?
Two guys sitting firmly at the bottom of the barrel, with one of them just happy to be there. When Jones decides what he wants to do, we’ll know which is which.
So here’s the question. If Jones is hired, where does Raymond end up? Because we all know if that happens, he’s packing his bags and leaving Red Stick in the dust.
You know nothing. It’s expected though. Keep trolling. At least you changed your logo away from LSU.
NCAA issues nonwithstanding, I think LSU is set up nicely going into 2021. They’ll be on the upswing in my opinion.
President Dump left out yaw yaw and Da Coacheaux out of his usual tired azz diatribe. Somebody not feelin good?
Resident Grump losing a step?
Funny how these recruiting stories get reported.
When LSU loses a recruit it is an “elite” recruit. When they sign a recruit with better numbers and much better offers he is just a recruit.
