LSU players come to Ed Orgeron's defense after report that his girlfriends interrupted practices
The LSU-Ed Orgeron split was sudden and public, and that led to some interesting reports in the aftermath of the separation agreement.
However, one of the strangest reports stated that Coach O had multiple girlfriends and that those girlfriends and their kids would interfere with practices, with the kids even getting reps in practice:
With regards to Orgeron's personal life bleeding into his coaching life, sources also tell @WBRZ that there were multiple practices where "girlfriends" would be in attendance at prax and would "interfere". To the degree of children of the women taking part in drills with team.

That’s a bizarre report, obviously, and several players took to Twitter on Wednesday to call out the report for being false:
I have been at LSU for quite some time now and can confirm this has never happened. Not once. https://t.co/7Y90q193tz

It does seem that if the report was true, it would have come out as it was happening. The Tigers are an SEC program with plenty of eyes on them.
Clearly, though, there’s still a lot of support for Coach O in that locker room.
