LSU to break out purple uniforms

LSU’s football equipment Twitter account made it official on Monday: the Tigers will wear their purple jersey tops for this Saturday’s home game against the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

The Tigers pair the purple tops with their traditional yellow helmets and pants. This is the first time this year that the Tigers’ will wear their purple jerseys.
