LSU scored a commitment from an in-state blue-chip athlete in the 2025 class.

Keylan Moses, a 4-star prospect out of Baton Rouge, announced his commitment at a ceremony on Thursday night. LSU beat out Texas, Florida, Colorado, Oregon, USC, and Alabama, among others, for his commitment. Moses’ brother, Dylan, played linebacker for Alabama.

Moses stars for University Lab High School in Baton Rouge. He is currently ranked as the No. 9 athlete and No. 5 prospect out of Louisiana in the 2025 class, per the 247Sports Composite ranking. Overall, he’s the No. 220 recruit in the class.

Moses lines up at multiple linebacker spots and also runs track for his high school. The athlete received heavy interest from Texas, Florida, and South Carolina, among others. Moses received his inital offer from LSU back in June 2021.

While listed as a linebacker, it remains to be seen where Moses will slot in for the Tigers. The prospect stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 210 pounds.

With the commitment of Moses, the Tigers now have the No. 6 recruiting class in 2025. The group features six known commitments.
