LSU outside linebacker Harold Perkins was named the Badnarik Player of the Week following a standout performance in the 13-10 win over Arkansas in which he recorded 8 total tackles (6 solo) with some 4 sacks.

The Bednarik Award is presented yearly to the best defensive player in college football as judged by the Maxwell Football Club to be the best in the United States and based on the type of overall season performance that Perkins has put up to this point, it is no surprise he is in the mix,

Perkins totals 52 tackles (25 solo) with 7.5 sacks, 3 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles and 1 interception as LSU prepares to head down the final stretch of the season.
