Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. are taking WRU to a new level with 1,000-yard seasons
Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. have joined elite company in LSU history.
The receiver duo has been elite this season, and now they joined the ranks as one of the best wide receiver combos in LSU history. On Saturday against Georgia State, Thomas passed the 1,000 receiving yard mark on the season, joining Nabers who passed the mark earlier this season.
With the pair both reaching the 1,000 yard mark on the year, they have become just the 3rd wide receiver duo in LSU history to do so.

The only other duos to reach the 1,000 yard mark are Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, who did it in 2019, and Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, who did it in 2013. It’s safe to say Nabers and Thomas are in elite company.
Nabers has 1,424 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on the season, while Thomas has 1,012 yard and 14 touchdowns.
The pair is looking to lead LSU to a win in its final game of the season this week against Texas A&M.
