As the national championship game draws closer, gamblers are moving money on LSU and Clemson, in both directions, and with some heavy balances.

Darren Rovell of The Action Network reports several large bets in recent hours.

One deep-pocketed bettor at DraftKings is risking $350,000 on a moneyline parlay with LSU and 49ers. The bet would profit $333,760 if both teams win outright.

MGM Sportsbook told The Action Network that they took $660,000 from the same bettor in three separate bets. The deep-pocketed punter put $220,000 on Clemson +5, $220,000 on Clemson +180 and, for good measure, $220,000 on Clemson to cover the first-half spread (+3.5). For those keeping score at home, that’s a total of $660,000 tied up in Dabo Swinney’s side.

The MGM Sportsbook at Beau Rivage in Mississippi is also seeing significant action on the game. One bettor played $107,000 on the Clemson moneyline (+185), while another bettor hit LSU -5 for $400,000.

The Westgate SuperBook in Vegas reported that it took a $79,983.45 bet on Clemson +5. That wager would net $71,983.45.

At the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Indiana, a bettor went with the Clemson moneyline (+170) for $100,000. If Clemson wins, that bet would net $170,000.

Here are other smaller bets:

  • $33,000 on LSU Moneyline at -225 to return $47,666
  • $30,000 on Clemson +5.5 on the spread at -110 to return $57,272
  • $20,000 on Clemson Moneyline at +170 to return $54,000
