Report: Les Miles rapidly becoming frontrunner for Kansas coaching job
Ever since his firing as LSU’s coach in September 2016, Les Miles has maintained a desire to get back into the profession.
He may finally have his chance, if recent reports are accurate.
The newest one concerning Miles comes from The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman, who tweeted Tuesday that Miles has “emerged as a frontrunner” to land the vacant position at Kansas. This comes just two days after Feldman reported the Jayhawks had “legit interest” in Miles after they announced they would not retain coach David Beaty following the season.
Am told by a source that there's a lot of momentum for Les Miles at #KU as the new head coach, and that he's emerged as a frontrunner. https://t.co/XEQhhT036r

The 64-year-old Miles has been linked to several vacancies over the last few years, but Kansas appears to be more interested in his services than any other school during that span.
Do you think Miles would be a good fit for the Jayhawks?
