There’s one common theme with each of the four remaining teams in this year’s College Football Playoff: An exceptional pass-rush.

Possessing players with the ability to get after opposing quarterbacks is an integral aspect of any successful football team. As such, there’s a premium on talented defensive end/outside linebacker prospects.

One of these players — 2017 4-star defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson — took to Twitter on Friday to unveil his list of the top two schools he’s considering signing with:

A native of Houston, Chaisson (for now) is down to hometown Texas and LSU. An explosive athlete, the 6-foot-4, 211-pound defender is exceptional at being a human blur off the edge.

According to 247Sports, he has four official visits set up. He will trip to LSU on Jan. 13, Texas on Jan. 20, Colorado on Jan. 23, and USC on Jan. 27.

These are only tentative at this point — and can certainly change at a moment’s notice. However, it appears as if the Longhorns and the Tigers have the current edge in Chaisson’s recruitment.
