There may be more passionate defender of LSU football, at least among national media people, than former player Marcus Spears. His passion comes through on this hype video for the Tigers ahead of the Texas A&M game.

The Tigers are looking to make up for last year’s seven-overtime loss to the Aggies as they play host to them this week at Tiger Stadium.

“We’ve got unfinished business,” Spears said. “We’ve got a debt to collect. We’ve got a score to settle. “There’s only one way to settle it. You take the last yard. You play through the last whistle.”

Coach Ed Orgeron discussed the game earlier this week.

“We just felt helpless,” Orgeron said of the 74-72 loss. “We just felt that when our time comes, we’re going to do something about it — and now’s the time.”

Since LSU already clinched the SEC West, this is a tuneup game for the SEC Championship Game against Georgia and style points for the College Football Playoff. And of course, revenge.

“We stand tall for four quarters, or forever long it takes,” Spears said. “From start to finish until the job is done. Forever L-S-U.”
