No. 12 LSU’s 22-21 upset of No. 7 Auburn on Saturday could potentially have major College Football Playoff implications.

Those teams in the top 10 are all rooting against each other every week so that their squad could potentially rise in the standings. One of those teams is No. 4 Ohio State, but they also had an additional reason to be LSU fans on Saturday.

LSU’s starting QB is Joe Burrow, who served as the Buckeyes’ backup QB for the last three years. Ohio State fans were watching the LSU-Auburn matchup on the jumbotron at AT&T stadium, where their Buckeyes would be playing TCU later that night, and they couldn’t help but be proud of their former backup QB for taking down a top 10 team on Saturday.
