Brian Kelly understandably didn’t have much to complain about after his LSU Tigers throttled the Army Black Knights 62-0.

Jayden Daniels had another near-perfect performance and got to relax on the sideline from the 3rd quarter on. The QB completed 11/15 passes for 279 yards and 3 TDs. After the game, Kelly praised his QB for another stellar performance.

Kelly explained that the Tigers have “a chance to win every game,” when Daniels plays his best.

The coach also praised his team’s discipline. The Tigers finished the game with just 3 penalties for 10 yards, which is a vast improvement compared to the team’s early season struggles.

Finally, the Tigers had their best defensive performance of the season on Saturday. The team allowed the Black Knights to collect just 193 total yards of offense and forced 4 turnovers. Kelly said he “isn’t ready to give this defense any award,” but he was proud of their performance nonetheless.

Kelly’s Tigers improved to 6-2 and will now have a bye week before heading to Tuscaloosa to take on the Crimson Tide.
