Darius Slay, a longtime NFL veteran and former Mississippi State cornerback, will miss Philidelphia’s Monday Night Football matchup against Seattle.

Slay has missed practice across the past few weeks and reportedly underwent arthroscopic knee surgery, which will keep him out of Monday’s game. He received limited snaps in last week’s game against Dallas.

However, Slay is expected to return before the end of the season. With Philidelphia being right in the race for a 1-seed in the NFC, they’ll need all the help they can get.

Slay has been in the league since 2013, originally starting with Detroit before he landed with the Eagles in 2020. This season he’s totaled 57 tackles with 15 pass deflections and 2 interceptions. So far, it’s been one of Slay’s best seasons in Philidelphia.
