It sure is good to see Nick Fitzgerald back on his feet, even if it is in a boot.

The star QB for the Bulldogs suffered a gruesome injury in the Egg Bowl against Ole Miss. It turned out to be a dislocated ankle that would require surgery to fix the injury.

Fitzgerald will definitely be out of action for the upcoming TaxSlayer Bowl, but Hail State FB shared a photo of him during practice Tuesday. He can be seen on his feet chatting it up with QB Keytaon Thompson who will be making his first career start in the bowl game.

Fitzgerald is definitely still healing and was wearing an air cast boot on his injured leg. It also looks like he is using a scooter to help him get around as one can be seen just behind him in the picture.

The road to full recovery is certainly still a long one for the dynamic QB, but fans will be happy to see that he is back on two feet as he continues to heal:
