Mississippi State has added a wide receiver with JUCO experience to its 2023 roster.
Former East Los Angeles College wide receiver Tyson Schilling announced Monday that he is headed to Starkville to continue his career at MSU.

Schilling appears to be joining the Bulldogs as a preferred walk-on. Rivals shows scholarship offers for Schilling from 3 FCS programs (Morehead State, Presbyterian and Valparaiso). Schilling also tweeted of receiving interest from Western Kentucky and USC.
Schilling’s Hudl highlight reel (below) lists his ELAC career stats as 60 receptions for 782 yards and 9 touchdowns. According to his ELAC bio, Schilling played in 11 games in 2022, recording 35 catches for 464 yards and 5 touchdowns. Schilling’s 2021 stats are listed as 20 receptions for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns.
