Mississippi State landed another piece to the 2024 recruiting class Monday afternoon. In the process, the Bulldogs flipped a player away from in-state rival Ole Miss.
The player is Fred Clark, a 3-star in-state linebacker out of Winona Secondary School in Winona, Mississippi. Clark committed to Ole Miss in March but reopened his recruitment on June 1.
Now, Clark is committed to head coach Zach Arnett and the Bulldogs:

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds, the 247 Sports Composite rates Clark as a 3-star recruit and the 71st LB prospect in the nation for the class of 2024. He’s also rated as the No. 21 player out of Mississippi.
Clark’s commitment gives MSU 8 pledges so far in the 2024 recruiting class. He is the 3rd in-state player to commit to the Bulldogs to this point.
