Mississippi State linebacker Kelan Chairs was arrested Monday morning outside of Starkville for driving with a suspended license after he was stopped for running a red light, according to The Clarion-Ledger.

The third-year sophomore from Harvey, Louisiana has made seven career tackles in nine games.

Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen has not commented on the matter and Chairs’ arrest will likely be handled internally.

The Bulldogs fell out of the Top 25 this week after Saturday’s loss to LSU. Mississippi State hosts Northwestern State this weekend.
