Mississippi State football reportedly lost running back Ke’Travion Hargrove to the transfer portal on Friday, according to Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports. He is also no longer listed on the team’s website.

Hargrove was a part of the Bulldogs’ 2021 recruiting class and was a four-star recruit coming out of Ruston High School (Ruston, LA). Last season at MSU, he redshirted while Dillon Johnson and Jo’quavious Marks carrying the majority of the load while JJ Jernigan also saw a number of meaningful snaps.

With Johnson and Marks continuing to be the impact players at running back and performing at a high level, it isn’t exactly surprising to see as player like Hargrove hit the portal in search of new scenery and an opportunity to rise up the depth chart.

It will be interesting to see where he lands next.
