Mississippi State didn’t waste any time trolling LSU after the big upset win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs were well aware that the Tigers performed a “Get the Gat Challenge” from the White House earlier this year as they met with President Donald Trump in honor of their national championship win.

“We just got through stepping on those young boys, tap in,” the Bulldog players said on Instagram during the post-game celebration for the Maroon and White.

There was plenty of reason to celebrate after QB K.J. Costello passed for an SEC-record 623 yards and five touchdowns as coach Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense powered an upset of the defending national champion LSU 44-34 on Saturday.

The LSU video was posted by Twitter user Subtweet Shawn, who helped start the challenge along with LSU players, per The Advocate. The White House video was also posted to TikTok. Gemi Bordelon, the wife of former LSU and NFL player Ben Bordelon, was in the LSU video. The LSU football team often danced to the song in the locker room after games during the undefeated 2019 regular season.
