The score turned what was already a sure Washington win into an even-wider Thanksgiving blowout over arch-rival Dallas in Jerry World. Sweat’s score made it a 41-16 advantage for Washington late in the fourth quarter. The Football Team held on to defeat the Cowboys by the same score.
The Washington defense tightened up after giving up a 54-yard first-half touchdown to Amari Cooper. From there, it was all downhill for Dallas.
