The Mississippi State women’s basketball team pulled off an incredible upset on Friday night, ending UConn’s 111-game winning streak with a 66-64 overtime victory. To make things even sweeter, the Final Four win sends the Bulldogs to the national championship game.

In the postgame locker room, legendary ESPN broadcaster and current Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, a Mississippi native, stopped by to give a passionate motivational speech to the Bulldogs.

“I’m so incredibly proud of you,” she says in the above video. “I’m proud of your courage, your strength, your grace, your beauty, your talent, your coaching staff, your fans — all of it. I am a proud Mississippian.”

But, she added, ending UConn’s winning streak will mean nothing if the Bulldogs don’t finish the job and win a national title on Sunday night against SEC foe South Carolina.

“You got one more,” she notes. “You celebrate, you bring it down, you got one more.”

The Bulldogs and Gamecocks will square off for the national championship at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday night. The game can be seen on ESPN.
