Mississippi State hasn’t allowed a sack yet this season, and the Bulldogs are set to get a player back on the offensive line.

Mississippi State coach Joe Moorhead said OL Michael Story is back with the team following a two-game suspension related to an arrest on animal cruelty charges. Moorhead said Story did some things off the field, such as community service.

Moorhead added that he was pleased with his running backs after a big performance on Saturday at Kansas State.

“Reminds me of being at UConn in 2009,” he said, referring to two 1,000-yard rushers.

That goes hand-in-hand with the offensive line.

“I think they have played very well,” he said. “We haven’t given up a sack in two games. Doing a good job of running the ball … It’s a group that prides itself on physicality in the run game and keeping Nick (Fitzgerald) on his feet.”

The Bulldogs will play host to Louisiana on Saturday for a 6:30 p.m. local time kickoff on the SEC Network.
