Brady Cook suffered a hyperextended knee and has not practiced this week as Missouri moves on from the exciting win over Kansas State and before this week’s game against Memphis in St. Louis.

Reports from Power Mizzou and ESPN’s Pete Thamel detailed the news.

Cook dealt with the knee injury in the first half of the memorable win over Kansas State. He passed for 356 yards and 2 scores, and led the Tigers into position to set up Harrison Mevis, who kicked an SEC-record 61-yard field goal as time expired for a dramatic 30-27 victory.

Cook last year also suffered a shoulder injury against K-State, something he dealt with the entire season before offseason surgery to repair it.

Cook did it all despite boos from the home crowd, which coach Eli Drinkwitz criticized, but Cook took in stride.

“I hear it,” Cook said. “It’s hard. This is my dream school and all I want to do is play quarterback here. I’d like if everyone else wanted me to play quarterback here.”
