Dreyden Norwood, a one-time elite recruit, has found a new home in the SEC.
The former Texas A&M defensive back Dreyden Norwood, who did not see any action this past season for the Aggies, is transferring to Missouri, Aggies Today reported. He was the top-rated player in Arkansas in the 2021 class, according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 24 cornerback in the class as a 4-star prospect. He entered transfer portal about a month ago. He’s from Fort Smith, Arkansas (Northside).
He committed to A&M in July of 2020 and the Aggies beat out Arkansas. He was primarily a quarterback in high school and made the transition to the secondary.
Norwood appeared in 2 games this season, against Prairie View and LSU, but did not record any stats.
Texas A&M freshman DB Dreyden Norwood is transferring to Mizzou after entering the transfer portal a month ago.
