The Matchup: Indiana (1-1) at No. 18 Missouri (3-0)
The Venue: Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field
The Kick: 4 p.m. ET

Series record: Missouri 3-6-2

Last meeting: Dorial Green-Beckham, Marcus Lucas and Russell Hansbrough all produced more than 100 yards of offense and defensive end Kony Ealy returned an interception for a touchdown as Missouri beat Indiana on the road, 45-28, last September.

Coaches: Gary Pinkel (178-100-3 overall), Kevin Wilson (11-27 overall).

Last game (Indiana): The Hoosiers became the third Big Ten team to fall to a MAC opponent in two weeks. Bowling Green quarterback James Knapke threw 73 passes, including the game-winning touchdown with nine seconds left. The Falcons won, 45-42.

Last game (Missouri): The Tigers bulldozed the Knights, 38-10, behind one of the most impressive performances by the team’s defensive line in the last several years. Missouri forced four turnovers in the second half and sacked Justin Holman 6.5 times.

Indiana wins if: Leading rusher Tevin Coleman (9.3 yards per carry) has a career day and the Hoosiers flip the script on Missouri by winning the turnover battle.

Missouri wins if: The offense takes care of the ball. Indiana’s defense is less than inspiring, which pre-dates last week’s upset against Bowling Green. But the Hooisers can and will put up some points. The Tigers need to maximize possessions and make sure not to give away opportunities.

What it means if Indiana wins: The Hooisers secure one of the biggest upsets of the season for the Big Ten and put themselves in good position to start the season 4-1.

What it means if Missouri wins: The Tigers enter conference play at 4-0, once again a clear if somewhat surprising contender in the SEC East.
