Kewan Lacy is an impact running back prospect out of Texas for the 2024 recruiting cycle. He was a key target for multiple SEC programs, and he revealed a commitment within the SEC Thursday evening.

In the end, Lacy committed to Missouri and head coach Eli Drinkwitz’s program over other SEC powers Alabama and Ole Miss. He becomes the highest-ranked RB commit for the Tigers in the class of 2024.

Lacy is listed at 6-feet and 205 pounds out of Lancaster (TX) High School. According to the 247 Sports Composite, Lacy is a 4-star recruit and the No. 17 RB in the country for the 2024 recruiting cycle. He also competes in track and field.

With Cody Schrader’s eligibility up at the end of the 2023 season, Missouri will be looking to replace a lot of production in the backfield for the 2024 season. Anything is possible once Lacy gets on campus, and he could have a shot to see early playing time with the Tigers.
