Missouri is hosting Tennessee on Saturday for a key SEC East contest set to kickoff at noon Eastern time in Columbia, Missouri.
On Thursday, Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the Tigers (2-2, 0-1 SEC) will be without a critical component of its offense, as wide receiver Mookie Cooper was designated as “out” on the Mizzou injury report.
Matter also included several other players in his injury-related tweet:
Mizzou injury report for Tennessee game:
Questionable: WR Barrett Banister, RG Case Cook, TE Niko Hea
Out: WR Mookie Cooper, DT Darius Robinson

Although Cooper’s absence will be difficult to overcome, the Missouri receiving depth should make things easier. Through 4 games this season, 15 different Tigers have already caught a pass.
A redshirt freshman, Cooper has caught 10 passes for 95 yards in 4 games played this year.
Tennessee (2-2, 0-1) and Missouri will be broadcast on the SEC Network with Dave Neal, Deuce McAllister and Andraya Carter on the call.
