Missouri football had a player opt for the transfer portal on Friday. The player will be a redshirt sophomore with at least three years of eligibility left.

The Missouri Tiger entering the portal is Arden Walker.

Walker played at Missouri for the last two seasons as a DL. Throughout his time there he played in 14 games for the Tigers with 11 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 fumble recovery.

Walker was thankful for his time spent at Missouri.

“I have decided to enter my name into the NCAA transfer portal,” said Walker. “This upcoming season, I will be a redshirt sophomore with approximately three years of remaining eligibility. Thank you to the University of Missouri for an opportunity!”

He hails from Englewood, Colorado. Walker was originally a 3-star DL from the 2021 class per the 247Sports Composite. He chose the Tigers over the likes of Boise State, Boston College, Colorado, and Colorado State.

Missouri finished the regular season at 6-6 to secure a spot in the Gasparilla Bowl. The Tigers went on to lose to Wake Forest 27-17.

In the month of April alone Missouri has had five players including Walker head for the transfer portal. Saturday Down South will keep you posted on more portal entries involving the Tigers.
