All eyes are on Drew Lock right now, as the draft-eligible junior will either decide to stay in school or head to the NFL Draft in the near future.

As Wednesday night’s Texas Bowl was winding down, Longhorns head coach Tom Herman mocked Lock’s celebration dance following his 79-yard TD pass to start the second half. It was an innocent act that apparently caught the attention of the Longhorns and Herman, and he sure didn’t forget it.

Lock’s celebration can be seen at the end of the following clip:

Texas’ defense stifled the Tigers’ explosive offense and limited Lock to just 269 yards and one TD. As Texas secured the 33-16 victory over Missouri, Herman and the Longhorns’ players proceeded to mock Lock on the sideline with the “securing the bag” celebration dance.

Following the game, Lock was asked about Herman’s actions, and he took them as more of a compliment than anything, according to St. Louis Post-Dipatch’s Dave Matter.

“They showed us a video at our luncheon (Tuesday) and it was all highlights of old Texas. … The saying was, ‘We are Texas,’” Lock said. “You can look at it like this is a pretty big program. And when the head coach is mocking your dance move you must be doing something right. You’re not a nobody. You’re definitely doing something that’s catching other people’s attention. When you think about, ‘We are Texas,’ and ‘We are the amazing program we’ve always been,’ and the head coach is doing that, I’m going to walk with my head high and a little chip on my shoulder when that happened.”

The ridiculous numbers Lock put together in 2017 certainly caught everyone’s attention, and the Horns had reason to celebrate after suppressing the Tigers’ explosive offense.

Now, Lock has a huge decision to make about his future.
