Missouri is having one of its best season and recent years, and the Tigers have now achieved a historic feat.

It was announced Sunday that Missouri’s home game against Tennessee next Saturday is sold out, making it 4-straight sellouts for the first time since 1980 for the Tigers. Missouri’s games against Memphis, LSU, South Carolina and now Tennessee were all sellouts. It’s safe to say fans are excited about this year’s team.

Missouri’s 1980 team fared similarly to the 2023 team, going 8-4 on the year. This year, the Tigers are looking to put together a better season than that year, and they’re on good pace at 7-2.

Next Saturday’s game against Tennessee is a big one. Missouri is coming off a loss to Georgia and looking to get a signature win over the Vols. The Tigers have not beat Tennessee since 2018, but they’re looking to change that this season.

Tennessee is coming off a dominant win over UConn and the Vols are hoping to keep things rolling into Columbia this week.
