Missouri continues to revamp its coaching staff under Eli Drinkwitz, and now the Tigers have identified its next defensive line coach.

Brian Early, who was retained by new Houston coach Willie Fritz, is headed to Missouri, according to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.

Early spent the previous 5 seasons at Houston after 5 seasons in the same position at Arkansas State.

Early has coached 7 seven all-conference selections, including the program’s first Big 12 Conference accolades in 2023 with defensive lineman Nelson Ceaser earning First-Team honors and Jamaree Caldwell picking up Second Team accolades. Ceaser led the Big 12 with 9.5 sacks while Caldwell ranked fifth in the league with 6.5.

He’s also coached 6 players who made NFL rosters, including 4 draft picks.
