Missouri will reportedly be without its leading tackler against Florida on Saturday.

Tigers’ linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper will not suit up for Missouri on Saturday after suffering an ankle injury in the Tennessee game, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports. The news comes after Missouri is already dealing with a blow to the linebacker position with Chad Bailey out for the year.

Hopper has been key for Missouri’s defense this season, picking up 55 tackles and 3 sacks on the year. Missouri’s defense will have to step up in his absence if the Tigers hope to get past Florida.

Missouri is coming off a huge win over Tennessee last week and is looking to keep its momentum going heading into this game. The Tigers are searching for their first 10-win season since 2014, and are just a win over Florida and a win over Arkansas away from meeting that number.

Florida is coming off a loss to LSU and will be looking for a win to reach bowl eligibility.
