Mizzou DC Ryan Walters describes continued relationship with Barry Odom

The Arkansas Razorbacks hired former Mizzou coach Barry Odom as defensive coordinator under Sam Pittman this offseason after he was fired by the Tigers.
However, new Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz managed to keep DC Ryan Walters on staff when he took over, and Walters is one of the top coordinators in the SEC.
On Wednesday, as the Tigers prepare to face Odom and the Razorbacks, Walters said he still has a good relationship with Odom, though they obviously haven’t spoken this week:
Ryan Walters on Barry Odom: “He gave me an opportunity to call plays and I’ll never forget that.” Says he has kept in touch with Barry Odom but hasn’t talked to him this week.
