Mizzou defender ejected after he kicked and spit on LSU players
Mizzou will be without Johnny Walker Jr. for the rest of the game after the defender was ejected late in the 3rd quarter.
Walker was ejected after his second unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. In his second offense, an official was caught on a hot mic telling Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz that, “He walked by and spit on him.”
In the first half, Walker was tangled up with an LSU player near the goal line, and kicked a Bayou Bengal in the shoulder. It appeared Walker was injured, as he received attention from the medical staff.
Walker had 3 tackles in the game, including 1 solo stop. When he left the game, Mizzou led 32-27.
Johnny Walker Jr. has been disqualified. Hot mic from the referee.
“I saw it. Be smart. He walked by him and spit on him.”
